10 Gorgeous Gardens That Have Us Giddy For Spring

By Georgina Shanahan

Can you feel that? There is a hint of warmth in the air and the colour green starting to return to our streets. Spring is nearly here, and we are in the mood to swoon over some of the best gardens that have just been listed by our Ray White agents, just in time for the spring selling season.

With the season of spring looking like it will be a quiet one at home in most parts of the country, these gardens are too beautiful for anyone to resist (…even those with hayfever).

1.

Kuranda, QLD

Our childhood selves are ogling at this magical garden complete with a lake and waterfall. The floating walkway and tropical greenery is transportive. The home is listed for offers over $839,000 and is tucked away in a mountain village in Far North Queensland.

2.

Woollahra, NSW

If stunningly immaculate is more your style, this courtyard garden looks like something out of a high-end photoshoot. The stunning gothic revival sandstone home is in Sydney’s coveted Eastern Suburbs… and that view isn’t so bad either.

3.

The Patch, VIC

A greenery-lover’s dream, this luxurious tree scape is tucked privately away in the Dandenong Ranges National Park. The captivating Tudor-style architecture is only even more moody and enchanting with that wild and wonderful green sprawl.

4.

Carrara, QLD

In the aptly named Garden Grove, it’s hard to believe this lush yard is someone’s home, and not a parkland. A beautiful mix of thriving fruit trees, colourful flowers, and emerald green lawns. While the night lights of Surfers Paradise are only a quick drive away, this little oasis is perfect for a green-thumb. Let us roll on that grass already!

5.

Highgate Hill, QLD

Love yourself some greenery, but don’t have a lot of outdoor space? The natural light flowing down through this character home drenches a clever indoor atrium. The lush greenery gives the best vibes to the interior of the house, in our opinion. And who says a garden has to be outside?

6.

Nedlands, WA

Over in the West, we have found a grand garden that we would like to sun ourselves in all day long. The luxe home sits on a  huge 1,012sqm block with a spacious front yard, lush green lawns, shady trees and impeccably-manicured gardens. Just when it couldn’t get any better, it is finished off with a white picket fence.

7.

Paddington, QLD

Nothing says Queenslander quite like a beautiful sprawling shady tree to greet you in the front yard. The florals below the picket fence make this Paddington home truly picture perfect. But what we love most of all about this gorgeous workers cottage, is the little “community herb garden” around the corner.

8.

Toowoomba, QLD

Toowoomba is known for its gorgeous gardens and flowers, and we found this gorgeous little gem, selling for offers over $299,000. The eclectic mix of plants in the front is very cute, and better yet, we spy a perfect chair for plenty of sunny afternoon book-reading and tea-drinking.

9.

Langwarrin South, VIC

This luxury storybook residence in the Mornington Peninsula is set on over 3 acres. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens, a mini fruit orchard including delicious cherry trees, and a boutique working vineyard (the best feature, in our opinion).

10.

New Farm, QLD

You don’t find grand, timeless gardens like these in New Farm everyday. The stately manicured gardens feature irrigation, ponds and a bird bath. Our favourite part? The quintessential jacaranda; the iconic symbol of Spring, showering the grass in a gorgeous sea of purple.
